Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is a... Cactus Christmas tree!!!!!
Wouldn't you love your very own CACTUS Christmas tree? Well, now you can indulge that whimsical desire. I know, I know, it's too much to handle isn't it? No doubt, I need one for my family room next year...
Well, as soon as they come back into stock that is. I stumbled upon a few precious images of Cactus Christmas trees, decorated with llamas and pom poms, and I started to put together a last minute holiday decor post. While sourcing the image owners I came upon this Cactus Christmas Tree from none other than Amazon:

No, this is not a sponsored post, but maybe it should be! Amazon does it again - a 7' foot tall Cactus Christmas Tree!? Yes, please, and thank you. Unfortunately, the listing says "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." Wait, wait..."OR IF!?" Le sigh.
I'll be watching and waiting... stalking. Anywho, we have a year to possibly snag this baby and make next year the best Christmas ever. In the meantime, here is some inspiration for when that glory moment finally arrives:

Let's talk about those little gifts though! Do you have a mini tree and some mini faux gifts around it? I do, and I love them. In fact, the mini gifts we have in our family have been around since my mother was a little girl. My grandmother is a very creative woman, in every area of life, but particularly in the garden and as a seamstress. She made some adorable little mini Christmas gifts and we still arrange them under all of our mini trees.
Well, last year I set out to make some more, to add to the tradition while using the oodles of craft supplies and loose jewelry beads that I hoard. You know how it is... right? Well, I'm working on a post about that - better late than never! You can get inspired and get to work for next year's decor with plenty of time. And really, there's still time to get it done this year before Christmas, it will make for some really fun kid and family holiday time, bringing everyone together through the creative process. Put on some holiday music, make some hot chocolate, whip out the craft supplies and go to town!! I'll be back with some eye candy to get your creative wheels turning, stay tuned.
