Murals of Miami's Wynwood Art District

Miami's Wynwood Art District is home to one of the world's largest outdoor artwork collections. The ones you see here are just the tip of the iceberg, and I'm not exaggerating - there are many many more. I'd like to take a bike ride through the neighborhood one of these days so I can see more of them, new ones pop up all the time.  Here are few of the ones I spotted while attending Art Basel:

Large and striking, this guy reminds me of Robert De Niro or Al Pacino.

Oh you know I LOVE this one!  Dude with a cactus head = win.

If you're lucky, you might pass through when the murals are being painted!  There was a lot of that going on during Art Basel, we happened upon this artist while walking the streets….

I love these photos, particularly the shadow of the stop sign and the colors.

This is pretty crazy, an entire wall with one saying written (super small) from top to bottom over and over again:  "Love is a risk.  Do it anyway."  It's a handwritten mural by Renda Writer. I love it:

The guy sitting on the curb with the cigarette is a happy accident, I really love this photo:

I love the realistic details of that hand, and the colors and shading on that chameleon!

I can't help but laugh, it's so appropriate:
