Welcome to Tarrrrget: Bohemian Fashion Heaven?

Does anyone else love Kristen Wiig as much as my boyfriend and I do? Everything she does on Saturday Night Live is hilarious, though I haven't seen a new Taaaaarrrrrget skit lately. Hopefully soon!

So, as some of you may have noticed on Facebook, I raided Target last week. I hadn't been there in a very very long time, and now I can't really remember why I decided to go. All I know is, I was with my boyfriend when the mood struck, and the poor thing lovingly  begrudgingly followed me through the store as I ooooooh'd and ahhhhh'd and pounced on tons of things.

There was an exasperating abundance of fashion accessories featuring Ikat and ethnic embroidery.... Well, well, well, what a surprise eh? Not really! I've been into this look for quite a few years, so I don't know whether to be thrilled that now the "look" is everywhere and easy to get my grubby hands on, or upset because it is now seen as a trendy fad - but I know I'll love it beyond the trend until the end of time!

So let's get started, I need to zip my lips and let you feast your eyes on what's going on at Tarrrrrget before everything is scooped up and it's too late to get your own slice of bohemian heaven.....

Ethnic embroidered belts galore...

Delicate Ikat wraps and scarves...

And yummy purses... a bohemian delight....

...and small makeup and clutches...

These were my favorite clutches...

I had to have this one...

There were also backpacks with faux Mexi an embroidery and Native American ikat-like prints...

...and more soft casual and vibrant hippy sling purses...

Oh and there were some pretty colorful wallets, but I didn't get one because they were very pleather-y and some were tearing and peeling, too bad...

If they had been better quality pleather, though preferably actual leather of course, or fabric, I would have liked this peacock one...I liked the greeny-yellow (or grellow) color...

And peacocks and turquoise are always awesome too...

I liked this turquoise necklace not he left made of multiple layers of sead-beeded strands....

Oh boy, I really fell for these colorful Ikat and geometric patterned tops... I got the two on the right... I still want the one on the left :)

There were even some pretty wedge heels in the show department... salmon/coral pink...

Turquoise...

Mmmm... I wish they were real suede... What can I say, I have rich taste ;)

These navy and white striped wedges have a great cabana beach feel...

Next, a brief stop, in the home department to ogle these overpriced plushy ottomans...

Mmmm could've been coral woven heaven for my tootsies...

Target has some really pretty plastic party-ware such as plates, bowls, and serving platters...

...of course, I had to pair up turquoise and yellow for my photo :)

..and there were some nice placemats and table runners as well...

Ok, now for the garden department, oh yeeeaaah...

This patio table set was okay, it caught my attention with the perforated pattern and yellow cushions...

There were lots of colorful metal lanterns and chairs...

...and some affordable outdoor pillows and cushions...

Last but not least, the stars of the garden department (for me) were these...

Little decorative stakes for your planters!

I wanted them all... but I chose these four to adorn/guard my succulent planters in the garden...

The last aisle I passed through before leaving (as I always do) was the the stationary and journal/planner aisle, it was loaded with cute things...

And hey, look!  I couldn't resist buying this gift bag from the dollar section because....

....I love the cactus artwork by Mary Engelbreit, and the proverb "The world is full of cactus but you don't have to sit on it."  I'd never heard that one before.  My mother laughed when I showed her and said "That even kind of look alike you!"  Hahaha, yes, sitting on a suzani stool with my big glasses and turquoise jewelry! ;)
