Mala Bead Necklace Giveaway by Tiny Devotions!

**THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED, CHECK BACK SOON FOR THE WINNER**

I am happy to announce that the winner of the Mala Bead Necklace Giveaway by Tiny Devotions is Michelle Vogiatzis!  Michelle is a Holistic Health Consultant, Yoga Instructor, runner, mother, and author of the great blog Glow Green Girl.  Congratulations Michelle! Look forward to an e-mail from me shortly with further instruction.  In the meantime, head on over to the Tiny Devotions shop and start browsing for your favorite ($108) Mala Necklace!

A big than you to all who participated in Inspire Bohemia's first giveaway, as well as to Tiny Devotions for the opportunity!

Hi everyone!

I am proud to announce Inspire Bohemia's very first giveaway, courtesy of Tiny Devotions! Similar to Inspire Bohemia, Tiny Devotions was born out of a thirst for adventure, inspiration, wisdom, and beautiful things!  Just as my goal is to inspire others to live a passionate and creative life true to themselves, so is the goal of Tiny Devotions, through the creation of unique Mala Bead necklaces aimed at inspiring others to live their dreams and maintain  "...peaceful and intention based lives."

The word "mala" is Sanskrit and means garland, mala beads have been used and worn by Hindus and Buddhists for thousands of years while reciting mantras, and during yoga and meditation. Mala, or Japa mala, bead necklaces typically have 108 beads, 108 being a favorable number throughout the history of both Hinduism and Buddhism. Because mantras can be recited several hundred times, if not more, each of the 108 beads on the mala helps one keep count.  The 109th bead/stone of the mala is known as the "guru" stone, it is said that counting should always begin with a bead next to this stone and rotate back again, but never passing it.

In addition to their traditional use, mala beads may be worn as physical reminders of our goals in life, helping us stay focused and calm.  Mala beads are said to have positive healing qualities for those who wear them, especially when combined with semi-precious stones.  At Tiny Devotions, each mala bead necklace is handcrafted in Canada using sacred materials such as lotus seeds, rudraksha seeds, rosewood, sandalwood, and bodhi seeds.  All necklaces are finished off with a guru stone, there are several different types of semi-precious guru stones to choose from such as turquoise, onyx, carnelian, amethyst and so on, each one providing unique benefits.  Choose the one that speaks to you!

Tiny Devotions will be giving one lucky reader a Mala Bead Necklace of their choice, valued at $108.00!  To enter, you must live in Canada, the United States, or Australia (sorry to the rest of you, maybe next time!).  Scroll down, fill out the form, and click submit for a chance to win!  Good luck! ;)
