Experience Hendrix Tour
Guess what? My sweet mother bought me two tickets to the Experience Hendrix concert tomorrow night in Hollywood at the Hard Rock! My birthday is coming up on the 25th of this month, and as soon as I heard about this concert (just in the nick of time!) on the 14th, I knew that I wanted tickets for my birthday. As much as I would love to go with my mom, she thought I'd have a better time with my boyfriend (who also loves Jimi), and I think she's right! We know all of the lyrics to Hendrix's songs, and never tire of listening to his albums! Anyways, thanks again mom, love you.
I've read some pretty awesome reviews about this concert, and I'm not surprised considering it consists of "...an all-star lineup of musical greats paying homage to the abiding genius of Jimi Hendrix." Yes, Jimi Hendrix was dubbed "The Greatest Guitarist of All Time" by Rolling Stone magazine, then again we knew that in our hearts already, didn't we?? Yup.
Tomorrow night my love and I will be rockin' and singin' along to all the great Jimi Hendrix tunes and perhaps some innovations by the following artists....

So, even though Jimi can't physically be with us, he'll be there in spirit jammin' out...
...I'm certain there will be lots of these...
...and hopefully a bunch of these in his honor!

There are still tickets on sale, for tomorrow night and other dates, so for all of you in South Florida who might be interested in going tomorrow night, check it out. There are other concert dates on the 16th and 17th in Clearwater and Saint Augustine, Florida as well. After Florida, the tour will move on to Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas and beyond. I'll let you know how our night goes and share whatever bounty of images I return home with! Maybe I can get a small poster or print to frame, we'll see. ;)
