Martin Luther King, Jr.

Hi there, Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!  Technically his birthday was yesterday, but today we get a work day off for the holiday. Some of us may or may not be basking in a day off, either way let's not forget the man that this day honors.

I have a dream, do you?  I want to hear about'em...  Let's turn our dreams  into reality during 2012 - we can all start with just one.  :)

Here are some great quotes from Martin Luther King, Jr....

"A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus. "

"A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual doom."

"A right delayed is a right denied."

"All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence."
"Almost always, the creative dedicated minority has made the world better."

"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity."

"Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness."

"Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase."
